About Me

  • Seven years into my television career as a breaking news reporter, I quit. I hiked 2,200 miles from Mexico to Canada. Yes … straight through carrying everything I needed in an 18 pound backpack + food & water.

  • The Pacific Crest Trail taught me I thrive under challenge. So I packed a U-Haul in Oklahoma and moved to La Jolla, California where I launched my own media production company. I focused on skills I learned from tv news — how to talk to people & get them to talk. My storytelling style set me apart, resulting in 14 gold American Advertising Awards.

  • Since I could take my work on the road, I did so. I built out and lived full-time in a Sprinter, documenting my life and organically becoming an influencer on Youtube & Instagram (click to watch). Thanks to my background, I know how to be in-front and behind the camera. I controlled the brand 100% myself and even launched the first all-women’s #vanlife workshop.

  • This is the cliff notes version. The depth of my life & work experience, we can talk about next to the ocean. I craft most creative ideas surfing worldwide waves. It’s how I came up with a travel-friendly surf changing poncho.

I joined after $25M Series A to create Juno Diagnostics’ multimedia marketing & visual storytelling identity from the ground up. The brand generated 20% monthly sales growth.

I came in during a $1M rebrand to create the visual marketing identity. My work won gold American Advertising Awards as I highlighted orthopedics, cardiology, the emergency department, and bariatrics.

Wild By The Mile gained organic growth of 1,000 subscribers per hour on Youtube & 50k followers in a year on Instagram. A brand which I founded & developed 100% myself. I directed brand deals, analyzed demographics & insights, and created all content myself.
